STATEMENT

Whale Bones is a series of photographs taken during the COVID-19 pandemic of the most complete skeleton known to science of the Atlantic Gray Whale, which has been extinct for over 300 years. The prints, which are actual size, are imbedded with ideas of scale, power, fragility, life, and evolutionary cycles.
